How to Create and Edit Report Templates
Sky allows you to create, duplicate, and customize reusable report templates that define how AI composes structured reports. Well-designed templates ensure consistency across cases and help your team maintain unified reporting standards.
Step 1: Open Settings
Click your avatar in the top-right corner of the app and select Settings from the dropdown menu. This opens the configuration panel where you can manage system-wide preferences and templates.

Step 2: Go to Reports
In the left-hand sidebar, select Reports to access and manage all reusable report templates available to your organization.

Step 3: Duplicate an Existing Template
Hover over an existing template, click the ⋯ and select Duplicate to create a copy instantly. Duplicating a template is the quickest way to start customizing an existing structure without changing the original.

Step 4: Edit the Template
Click the ⋯ on the copied template and select Edit. You can update the template name, adjust the definition, and modify the section structure to match your reporting needs.

Step 5: Update Structure and Content
Within the editor, modify section titles, purposes, and AI prompts to align with your organization’s workflow. Each section defines how Sky AI should generate, format, and contextualize specific parts of the report.

Step 6: Save Changes
Click Save Template to confirm and apply your updates. The revised template will appear in the list immediately and become available for report generation.

Step 7: Create a New Template (Optional)
To build a new template from scratch, click Create Template. Provide a clear name, add a concise description, and define the section structure with short, specific instructions and prompts for each block.
