Exporting Your Organized Doclist

This article explains how to export your curated DocList from "Launch Sky" for external use or record-keeping.

Accessing the Export Feature

The "Export" button is located within the "Launch Sky" interface, typically near the "+ Category" button.

Selecting Content for Export

Your selections in the DocList determine what is exported. Checkboxes next to categories and individual documents allow you to choose specific items.

  • Exporting the entire DocList: Export everything by selecting all categories and documents.
  • Exporting specific content: Select only the categories or documents you need.

Understanding Export Output

The DocList is exported in a structured format that reflects your categories and document names.

  • The export creates a document that mirrors the organization of your DocList.
  • AI-generated summaries or snapshots are not included in this type of export. To export AI-generated content, use the Chat export feature.

Export Process

  1. Initiate the export: Click the "Export" button.
  2. File Delivery: The exported file is delivered via an email link.
  3. "Export Started" Notification: After initiating the export, a notification "Export Started" will appear. You'll receive an email with a download link when the export is ready. The time it takes depends on the size of your DocList.

Use Cases for Exporting the DocList

Exporting your DocList allows you to:

  • Create a table of contents for your documents.
  • Share the structure of a case or project with others.
  • Maintain an external record of your organized documents.
