How to Restore a Case

Restoring an archived case in Sky is simple and ensures that you can always return to work on cases you no longer keep active. Here’s how to do it.

Step 1: Go to Settings

Navigate to the Settings section from the main menu.

Step 2: Open the Archive Section

In the Settings panel, click Archive on the left-hand side to view archived items.

Step 3: Switch to ‘Cases’ View

Ensure you are selecting the correct view - Cases will show you the archived cases and Documents will show you all of the archived documents.

Step 4: Find the Case You Want to Restore

As we are dealing with documents in this example, browse or search for the document you want to restore.

Step 4: Choose Restoration Method

  • Restore with Case: If the original case is archived, this option will restore the case along with the document.
  • Restore to Another Case: Select a different case from the dropdown list where the document should be placed.

Step 5: Confirm Restoration

Click the Restore button next to the case. It will be returned to your active case list and available for further work.

By restoring a case, you bring it back into active status — ready for editing, document uploads, or analysis in Sky mode.
